Traditionally tag companies have supplied cheaper Slaughter tags as well as more expensive Mart, or Life Time tags.
Simplicity
Our tag is approved as both a Mart & Slaughter Tag, which means it will last the life of a ewe or ram, and is cheap enough to send to slaughter.
What's more, when fitted with the electronic chip, it becomes an Electronic Identification (EID) Tag, meaning you won't spend time or money on obtaining different applicators.

Ease of Use
Our Applicator is designed to be used quickly and efficiently, you will notice that once a tag has been easily snapped into place (without having to line it up over a pin) there is no room for the tag to rattle about or shift while you are applying the tag to the ear.
Life Time
The Irish Farmer is quite used to a distinction between temporary slaughter tags, and long lasting mart tags. We want to challenge that concept. We have designed a life time tag that is good enough to withstand the Irish conditions - and cheap enough to send to slaughter.
Retention
The male pin is located at the outer edge of the tag. This means that there is nothing for a wire/fence/briar to catch on. The ledge of plastic that provides leverage for the tag to snap off on most conventional tags simply doesn't exist on a SET Tag.
